Our Facilities
PADI Dive Center & Onsite Training Pool
Our center offers a retail and administration area.
Our training room offers a cool, quiet space for courses to be conducted. Equipped with multi media facilities, PC, wireless internet access which is available to our customers.
Our kit room is separated into wet and dry areas. We have dedicated dunk tanks and a large new rinse area to ease kit washing and drying.
The tank and compressor room is home to our certified Bauer compressor, containment fill station and 10L 12L & 15L steel tanks.
Our large onsite pool is available every day and is just a step away! All confined water training is completed here in preparation for the Open Water dives. It makes training relaxed and enjoyable and gives you a great opportunity to master those skills whilst gaining confidence! We also use the pool for our bubble maker fun & scuba reviews.
Diver Safety
Oxygen is available at the center and is taken to every dive site. First Aid facilities are also available at the center and are taken to the dive sites with all staff being EFR trained. Emergency action plans have been prepared and are in place for each dive site. Divers are asked for to complete a registration form when diving with us and diver certification details and Insurance contacts are recorded. The Dive Center and staff are insured through DAN Europe. We are a registered PADI Dive Center 9896 and adhere to all PADI regulations regarding the saftey and training of all our divers. All dives are within the recreational no decompression limts and as good practice 3min safety stops are encorporated into all our dives.
Apres Dive
After diving we can enjoy the warmth of the sun and relax with the sound of a waterfall ! Help yourself to a tea or coffee, fill in your dive logs and swap stories of the ray that got away!
Resort Facilities
Also, being located at Tropical Park, both divers and non divers have full use of the resorts onsite facilities. These include, 2 swimming pools, sun areas, pool bar, tennis courts, squash courts, Jacuzzi, gymnasium, hot showers, toilets, changing facilities, restaurant and supermarket.
Internet
Need to check up on your email or just need to send a dive pic to make someone back home jealous! Feel free to, we have Wireless Internet available through the centre for all our divers.
Insurance
Spanish Diving Laws (B.E no.280,22nd November 1997, Ministerio de Fomento) state that it is mandatory that all divers here in Tenerife have Personal Accident and Third Party Liability Insurance. This law is applicable to all qualified divers and as part of our diver registration procedure we will ask for your dive insurance documents. If you do not have dive insurance then no problem as we can issue on the spot daily, weekly, monthly or annual coverage through Scuba Medic. This starts from just €3.75 per day and provides you with immediate coverage so you can get on and enjoy your diving.
PADI ’Dive Chek’
All qualified divers must produce a certification card prior to diving. As a PADI Authorised Dive Center we have access to the PADI "Dive Chek" online database so If you did not plan to do any diving whilst on holiday or you have forgotten your PADI certification card then just call in, with your name and date of birth we can check online.
