PADI Scuba Diver

Certification Course

This course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you're short on time the PADI Scuba Diver is right for you.

The PADI Scuba Diver course is great if you are on holiday with family or friends and do not want to spend a lot of time away. This course lets you become a qualified diver in only a day and a half which makes it the best intermediate step for earning an Open Water Diver certification, if that’s your ultimate goal.

If you are at least 10 years old and would like to explore the underwater world then enrol in the PADI Scuba Diver course.

What will you learn:
  • Knowledge Development (online) to understand basic scuba diving principles
  • Confined Water dives to learn the basic scuba skills
  • Open Water dives to use your skills and explore

The PADI Scuba Diver course qualifies you to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional to a maximum depth of 12 metres, obtain air fills, rent or purchase scuba equipment and participate in dive activities as long as properly supervised. Continue dive training by completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification and taking certain specialty diver courses. .

How many dives will you do:

You will complete three confided water dives and two open water dives from our boat or shore.

What equipment will you use:

You will learn during your Knowledge Development section the basic scuba equipment used by divers, this includes, mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank.
