Become the scuba diver everyone wants to follow. Be the diver that knows where you are and where you are going. The Underwater Navigation Specialty course fine-tunes your observation skills and teaches you how to use the compass more accurately. If you like challenges and big rewards, taking this course will certainly give you what you are after.

If you are at least 10 years old and a PADI Open Water Diver or higher you can enrol in Underwater Navigator course. 

What will you learn:

• Methods to estimate distance underwater
• Compass navigation while making at least five turns
• Marking or relocating a submerged object or position from the surface
• Underwater map making

This course is challenging but at the same time gives you big rewards and a lot of fun. Knowing where you are underwater makes it easy to navigate to predetermined locations or back to the exit without getting lost. 

How many dives will you do:

You will complete three scuba dives from our boat or shore.

What equipment will you use:

Apart from using basic scuba equipment, you will use a compass, a data slate to record your navigation information as well as the Navigation Planner to make the turns underwater easier to track.
